Game Idea: Dungeon Keeper

We all remember this classic, it was one of my first games to play, it was interesting and fun, digging out your dungeon, placing buildings, collecting gold, and letting creatures enter your realm to populate your dungeon, to fight for your dungeon and kill all intruders, it was simply perfect for its time.

It came to the past that we finish the game and eventually we were given Dungeon Keeper 2, another fantastic dungeon crafting game to its best, with only a few mechanics that are different from the first game, after completion we get teased to Dungeon Keeper 3 but to this date we are still waiting.

No, I will not count fan made or remakes and rip-offs, the Android version or War for the Overworld, sure War for the Overworld is the spitting image of Dungeon Keeper with some new designs and of course better graphics, this game is fun as well but I just think it had more potential, potential with gameplay and the little things that could have made it feel more like a sequel instead of a remake or fan made.

My Idea and Opinions

If it was up to me, I will make it exactly the same as Dungeon Keeper 1 or like Dungeon Keeper 2 with more gameplay elements, with new creature designs, that resembles the old classic titles but have sufficient changes to make them new and improved.

Beside from the creatures, that enter your Dungeon at random, they should add a feature to what creatures is allowed to make residence in your new Dungeon, to give it more of a twist and of course to prevent players from selecting only the strongest creatures, the creatures should be paired into groups for example a stronger creature will only enter your Dungeon if you have another weaker creature in your Dungeon already.

To add to the creature and how they enter I will let the stronger ones have the above requirement as well as a few other requirements, maybe even make the strongest creatures disobey, but not in the way that they run away from battle but instead they can attack and kill all other creatures in the Dungeon making them harder and first priority to up keep.

As to make it feel like a sequel Dungeons 2 pretty much have that covered, sending your creatures from the Dungeon to the surface to attack, so to keep them on the same level of idea I would keep the combat fairly similar to Dungeon Keeper 2.

Since Dungeon Keeper 3 teased the outside world realm of the humans and other creatures, this will surely need to be added or it simply won't feel like a sequel, especially if you only had to fight in your realm like War for the Overworld.

Combat Idea

I was thinking maybe if you added both worlds to one level of design, for instance you have your Dungeon you craft this by digging out alleys and rooms, then the enemy should have let's say a Castle, they can attack you as you can attack them, right very much the same as Dungeons 2, to make it feel different and play different more tactics can be added, like certain conditions needs to be met in order to attack, for instance some creatures can get a bonus when it is night time and others when it's daytime, with your all around creatures that don't mind.

Another possible entry to change the combat gameplay could be by adopting a similar style like Total War, massive battles, of course then you will have three different mechanics and it should still play and feel like Dungeon Keeper 3.

1) You have the same features from Dungeon Keeper to build your Dungeon and will defend in the same way, by killing intruders and setting traps, but

2) To attack you need, to ensure the best conditions for your creatures and send them to the surface and rally them up there in order to attack and dominate the village, town, castle.

3) This will also mean that you are now mixing battle strategy games with the old classic Dungeon Keeper and for that to be excepted people will want to play as either the Overlord, Humans, Dwarves or any other possible race, that can be, doable if the gameplay style for each is similar.

This will give the game open to story potential and new gameplay elements while maintaining the games old play style, when defending classic just like Dungeon Keeper 1 or Dungeon Keeper 2 and when attacking it turns to an open battlefield, where strategy is key, maybe even control the battlefield with spells and other diversions.

With new graphics that Direct X 10,11 and 12 can deliver the game could look amazing as well as please the old fans and gather new fans at the same time.

HONEY 3: Dare To Dance Movie Review

Honey 3 Dare To Dance is the third movie of the honey movie series. The story takes place in Cape Town, South Africa. The movie is about a college student named Melea Martin (played by Cassie Ventura) who wants to make a hip-hop styled Romeo and Juliet with her boyfriend Erik Wildwood (played by Kenny Wormald) to honor her mother , but her plans are put on hold because she is being kicked out of school for not being able to pay her tuition.

With determination and hard work She manages to get her hip-hop Romeo and Juliet started with the help of her boyfriend, a few friends and an enemy that later becomes a friend, But there is trouble when Melea asks a Famous music artist Taj Mfeka (played by Clayton Evertson) to help with the music, tension bubbles to the surface between the dancers as Erik believes that Taj is trying to impress Melea and steal her from him, and Ishani Magona (played by Sibo Miambo) Melea newest friend thinks that she is trying to get with Taj whom she loves secretly.

The show is put on hold again, it seems like a hopeless cause to Melea. The love triangle misunderstanding caused Melea boyfriend to leave her and Ishani to quit helping with the show's choreography. Taj later goes to find Ishani to try and clear up the misunderstanding, telling her that he was never interested in Melea and that he was only trying to impress her because he loves her. After Ishani has learned the truth, she and Taj go to see Erik explain the situation. The three then surprises Melea on the radio by promoting her play.

Melea is ecstatic about the news as well as having a sold out theater. The show must go on and they pick up right where they left off in rehearsals, But Melea is unhappy with how Romeo and Juliet's story ends and wants to change the ending.

Show night and the theater is packed with people excited to see the show. The dance choreography is flawless and beautifully done. This movie has a little bit of everything and I enjoyed watching it, I enjoyed the vibrant music that was a bit different from what I use to listening to. Overall, it was a beautifully made dance movie with some drama and love thrown in. I recommend that you watch it and see what Cape Town has to offer as a movie backdrop.

Secret Life Of Pets Movie Review

This is just one of those animations that are a must watch, a few months ago when I had a look at the trailer, i thought to myself that this is going to be a good one, though like all movies I had to wait and see, you know, because they snip out  all the good parts and put it into their trailers then you end up watching it and it's actually very bad, luckily this one is nothing like that.

The story

Max is a happy terrier that lives with his owner, everything seemed to be perfect until she brings back another shady much larger dog from the pound called Duke.

On introduction Max didn't like the idea of a new dog in the house and became jealous over Duke, Max then seeks advice from a cat Chloe, that simply don't care about the situation as much as Max does, giving him the advice to show dominance.

After wrecking the place in order to blackmail Duke, Max, and his friends go for their daily walk to the dog part, where Duke attempts to dump him in a dumpster in an alley, where they are both attacked by Ozone, in the ruckus they get caught by Animal Control.

This is where Snowball rescues them, a stray that is out to dominate the human race, Max and Duke must prove their loyalty by getting bitten by a one fang viper, where they escape the sewers.

Gidget a white Pomeranian after realizing that Max is not with his friends and the dog walker is set on her own journey with her and Max's neighborhood friends, all pets to find and rescue Max.

My ratings and opinions

The movie is well detailed, not just graphically but the story as well, the movie is well paced and the voice acting is excellent, with fitting music.

Besides the drama, Secret Life Of Pets is very funny at the best timed moments, but we didn't expect anything less from the directors of Despicable Me and a budget of $75,000,000.

I will recommend anyone to go and watch this movie, the entire family can enjoy this flick as it is child-friendly but not overly childish, there is a bunch of laughs in store for you.

Skiptrace Movie Review

Did you enjoy Rush Hour? then this movie just might be the one you need to watch next, be warned possible spoilers ahead.

The Story

We all remember Rush Hour, it was a good, funny, action movie, Skiptrace is no different, with only a few things that you will need to overlook.

Following an up stick cop Bennie Chan (Jakie Chan) obsessed over doing his work and bringing down the notorious crime boss Matador, after his late partner's death, Bennie was asked to protect his daughter Samantha (Fan Bingbing).

Samantha gets into trouble and is blamed, that she was helping a man steal from the casino and the only way they will let her go is if she finds him, informing her uncle over the mess Bennie sets out to find this man before they harm Samantha.

Connor Watts (Jhonny Knoxville) an American Conman that cheats casinos in Cina after he was banned from American Casinos, as he was doing what he does best the Russian Kingpin tracks him down for cheating his daughter and has to marry her.

Bennie rescues Connor from the Rusian Kingpin, where Connor burns his passport rendering them to travel all the way back on foot as well by car.

The journey was action packed with some comedy in the scenes of the movie, but do not expect this to be nearly as good as Rush Hour, very similar yes it is, and not to get me wrong the movie is good, Skiptrace has a good solid story, but the comedy is just not there like it was in a few other movies starring Jackie Chan or Jhonny Knoxville.

At the end of this long journey, they split up and like many other movies end up reuniting again to take down Matador, where Samantha will meet someone that meant a lot to her once, to avoid spoilers I will leave it at that.

My rating and opinions

The movie feels like it takes ages to start, and frankly, the comedy will make you laugh if you find things funny easily, other then that there might be a few giggles.

Some better music could have been added, it's very dull and slow and with good music, that alone could have made a big difference in this movie.

The movie starts slow and maintains a sluggish speed throughout the entire movie run time, the action is also filmed most of the times at bad angles.

I found the movie filled with action, though I am unable to rate it very high, due to all the drawbacks, at least all stunts were performed in the flesh on Chan's side so don't expect much cheap CGI effects, which is a major plus.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Movie Review

Everyone loves the Final Fantasy games, or at least most of us do, but what about the movies? With mixed movie reviews will Kingsglaive fall short or will it be a great movie to enjoy with friends and family? Read this review to find out now.
The Story

No worries, I will try to keep spoilers to a minimum, for around the first 30 minutes I really thought it was going to be the same as the first two movies, that has to build up to the story which is very confusing with only hardcore action near the end, with Kingsglaive this is not the case, yes around 30 minutes is required before the plot starts to make sense.
Nyx the main character in the movie must protect their home and their kingdom Lucis ruled by King Regis yes the father of Noctis, the Kingsglaive is a special military platoon that shares magical power with the king, they must fight against the menacing Empire Niflheim.
Finally, a peace treaty is announced and King Regis has no option to accept, in order for there to be peace, Prince Noctis must marry Princess Lunafreya, with the king excepting the treaty, the Kingsglaive is torn apart by hate and traitors within their own ranks.
Only on the day when the peace treaty must be signed, Nyx discovers the Empires true plans after the princess was kidnapped again, he is tasked to rescue and retrieve her from enemy combat ships.
Back at the kingdom with no Kingsglaive to protect them, they steal the crystal that grants the Kingdom magical walls that no attack can penetrate, the moment the crystal detached its a full on war as the magical barrier starts to fall, with strong almost unkillable soldiers invading them with a commander that can summon all mighty warriors to fight for him.
It is up to Nyx to return and protect the King while at the same time protect Princess Lunafreya, with the crystal out of reach the King grows weaker and weaker.
Due to certain death, this is where the movie gets action packed, in an all out brawl between the forces of Niflheim commander and Nyx, tasked to protect the Princess at all costs to the end.
The final battles last a very long time and it's great, it felt just right, it lasted for as long as it should, it didn't feel stretched out or dragged on and most importantly it wasn't short like most movies seem to do nowadays.
My rating and opinions
The movie was well paced with a fantastic story, not just that the effects were amazing, though, what did we expect it is a Final fantasy movie after all.
I highly recommend that anyone watches the movie, it contains elements of the games, this includes the summons as well as magic, so Final Fantasy fans are in for a real treat.
They could not have picked a perfect time for the movie, just before Prince Noctis returns to find his father dead, this explains a lot before you buy the game.
If there was anything I would have changed in this movie, well I won't because this movie was done right from start to the end, please leave your thoughts and comments down below, I promise I read all of them.
